Just an FYI in case you're still playing. There is a feature of you keep playing that lets you build things without the source objects being there, and spending a bit of the ore you get. This trivialises all the korok things by just sticking them to a hoverbike haha

As per title.

Deck is being sent for repairs as the D-pad has stopped working entirely.

Has anyone had to factory reset and restore where they're using EmuDeck?

Installed emulators, games, and particularly the saves, have a bad feeling I'm gonna lose some stuff in this process.

If corporations paid the way they should the country would be in a lot less money issues than it is.

Here in the UK it's often talked about and people get angry about Bob the builder doing cash only work and not paying his taxes. Just another plan from the government and media to cause in fighting rather than look at the real issue, big corps.

But also fuck scalpers so I'm torn.

Courtesy of someone from the old place, I don't think I've seen it posted here yet. :)

Really sorry but how do I browse to this using Connect?

Tried searching for it, and tried the c/

But are these actually the same communities?

Or do they count as separate ones on separate instances which uses created with that instance specific account?

I think they're 2 spearate communities? Which does confuse things.

Although the link worked on Connect for the Lemmy one so that's what I'll be using anywau

I clicked respond from my notification and it appears to have put my comment in its own comment haha.

Thank you.

Thanks!

I'm not entirely sure what you meant in the last paragraph.

I did !android@lemdro.id And it found it and I'm subscribed though. So I'm getting there. Seems somewhat long winded finding new communities and connecting to them, maybe it can improve in the future.

I have some other less tech savvy friends who have dropped Redidt and I think it'll take them some time here.

Thanks for the response.

So following the other guys response, I was able to connect to that Android community, and even subscribed, so it's in my front page now.

Why would I need to make an account on that instance? I haven't tried yet but it looks like I can respond even with my account from this instance too.

Multiple accounts would put me off really, I like to be able to look back on everything on the one account.

Also side note, but unrelated, it does seem harder to find communities, I searched Android on Connect and got relatively little. But I found this Android one by checking specifically on Reddit. Maybe that can improve some way in the future.

Ah yes, that did work thank you.

On a side note clicking Unsubscribe and Subscribe again also doesn't work.

But using the 3 dots menu and clicking subscribe has worked 100% of the time.

Or is it only the 3 that you can pick from where you can create an account in settings?

Still new so trying to work this out.

Is Connect for Lemmy only federated with a few instances?

For example I wanted to join lemdro.id As it's the replacement for /r/Android But when I search it's seemingly not there.

From what I can tell that is the Instance, and within it are communities. Are we able to add additional instances? Or even post across them? (I think I'm on lemmy.world?)

Using Connect, when I go to a post, then view Community, it seems in already Subscribed?

The button says Unsubscribe.

But when going to my Front Page, only this community is showing (I'm not sure how but I was able to click Subscribe for this one the other day)

So I can't seem to add any more to appear on my front page.
