I only had 'undetermined' selected for a language option, I added English and all is good. Thank you though.
Complex characters are outdated? It also refers to special characters but I guess that's what I was thinking of. So special characters are in, so what is a complex character then?
Thank you for the crash course. This is extremely helpful. I'm not sure if you saw the other post about not seeing comments but you nudged me into fixing it. I only had undetermined selected for the language and not English, but anyway thanks for pointing me in the right direction on the printers.
@IMALlama I think my account is borked. I can see the comments in my inbox but on my post I can only see my comment. It says (6) comments but I only see mine. A number of communities don't seem to show up properly, I thought it was just a Lemmy issue but maybe it's a me issue. I also didn't think this community was even active because the newest posts are a couple months old for me but I've gotten good feedback so thanks for all of the advice and the crash course.
Thanks, that's about what price I had in mind. It's been awhile since I've priced them so I'm happy to see decent ones under $200.
I'm not sure. I'm starting from zero so either? I'm pretty technically inclined but I'm hoping it's easy enough to keep my teenaged daughter interested, if that makes a difference.
Something funky was going on the other night through today. Someone enabled some shows they weren't supposed to or something. My daughter messaged me saying the walking dead, Grey's anatomy and a bunch of other stuff was on Disney. There was even a section labeled 'Star' with lots of new content but it's all gone as of right now.
I guess there wasn't really question there so, how do I fix that?
Where I live Joann Fabrics went out of business and a Spirit took it's place.

Yeah a lurk but I don't post unless maybe it's for work or something like that. I do feel like the quality has dropped pretty sharply. The home feed is absolute trash. Constant feed of random shit like r/decks, the ads were pretty bad before I discovered RedReader but overall it doesn't capture my attention the way it used to. Even the comments feel dumber but that could be my imagination.
