I think there's an underestimate of how a lot of Republicans don't like trump. They're not a part of his maga crowd but they're still dumb enough to think that voting for a Democrat is worse than voting for trump. The support and endorsement of all of these Republicans and the support of the Lincoln project is showing those people who are Republicans and have Republican beliefs that it is okay to vote for Kamala.

That's very interesting. I have a cat that looks almost exactly like the one depicted but the orange in our cat has grown out a little bit more. When she was about 6 months old she looked exactly like the picture. Fairly confident ours isn't deaf though because she's reactive to when I unlock the back door to let her outside lol. It could be that she's not got the right genes though because her mom was Siamese and Dad was orange and she came out as a flame point.

I've done some studying on cloud seeding in college. By far not an expert but took some classes on it. It requires storms to already be developing to be able to seed the clouds. All it is doing is helping the storm to produce more rain and less hail. It's not creating anything out of thin air. There is no controlling the weather just giving it a (very small) nudge. In fact, it is so minor that there's a lot of controversy as to whether it's even worth the time and effort to do but studies do indicate that it is successful in increasing rainfall throughout the life of a storm.

I work for a unionized airline and a lot of people bitch and moan that we have to pay dues roughly equal to 2% of our income. I always remind people that our non-unionized competitor pays their employees a flat 10% less than we get paid. So we make more, get union protection, and a ton of other benefits by being unionized. I have no problem paying union dues.

This is great. Are you planning on adding categories for specific kinks?

I'm an airline pilot and it's funny how many people I work with that tell me they don't want to move on to work with United and Delta because they have gone "woke". United and Delta have always had the best pay and benefits and I've been shocked to see how many people put their own bigotry and racism before working for a company that will give you the best quality of life and pay.

Do you just call everyone pretentious who says something you don't like? Lol

An alternative I do to this, since I switch between hands, is you can slide the post to the left to upvote it and if you keep sliding it'll down vote it

Been a long time supporter of sync. Honestly a bit sad to see there's nothing for those that had pro/ultra before :/

I'm able to tell my partner is depressed when she starts cracking jokes left and right. It's the best indicator I have to see she's having a rough day.

Well it's more so congress and not so much the FAA. For example, the house has passed a bill allowing pilots to continue to fly until 67 years old. The current mandatory retirement age is 65 and believe me, a lot of the guys pushing their 60s are delusional and this is just gonna make it worse.

30% is good, but the rest of the industry for pilots has been getting better deals lately and FedEx has historically been the highest paid pilots in the US so they've got high standards. We are also in the midst of a pilot shortage in the US and pilots have never had this much bargaining power to get what they want and likely never will again. Therefore, pilots at a lot of companies are being patient to get exactly what they want out of their new contracts. Honestly, the pay is relatively low priority to other quality of life upgrades.
