before you buy something there, ask yourself: is this really worth forcing a poor warehouse worker pee in a bottle? you as a consumer have more power than the ceo of the company, use it!

Magic Earth is closed source but it claims it respects the users privacy, it uses open street maps and it has decent traffic data for navigation for some countries. It also has the advantage that you can configure it to stick to the original route if you prefer. This is very important for me because sometimes I want to take a scenic route, or just routes I prefer but that are not necessarily the fastest.

at this point in life I think I already saw all the bands I wanted in concert. I think I can afford to boycot these mfs and stick to local concerts that dont use that garbage company.

not really, not everybody has the same destination, but a lot of people need to go in the same direction at a given moment (thats why you are stuck in traffic in this situation).

What I find very disconcerting is that some companies don't own real state, they rent it. A commercial space in NY size of a garage costs like 70K per month! So these companies had the golden opportunity to pocket this money, to make their employees happy, help the environment, improve the traffic in the city and get talent from anywhere in the country, but said "nah thanks, I prefer to spend my time micromanaging my employees".

What is wrong with these people? Our generation needs to create better, smarter companies and make these dinosaurs irrelevant.

Ce que je vais te dire ce un conseil que je devrais suivre moi même, mais quand tu te sens comme ça, c’est une bonne idée de se débrancher des choses qui sont dehors ton control et se concentrer plutôt dans les choses qui le sont. Chaque jour t'as des choix pour faire des bonnes es des mauvaises differences dans ton entourage: C'est toi qui décide d’être gentil ou pas avec tes voisins, tes collègues, les gens dans la rue. C'est toi qui décide d'aider quelqu’un qui a l'air perdu ou de l'ignorer. C'est toi qui décide d’être une force positive ou négative dans le monde. Tu ne peut pas résoudre le conflit entre Israel et Palestine, mais tu peux faire une petite différence dans la vie de quelqu’un autre dans ton entourage chaque jour, même si c'est juste avec ta gentillesse.
