European Starlings were introduced in the US about 100 years ago by a misguided fool in Manhattan. They are invasive, but absolutely everywhere around the US at this point and that's definitely a European Starling fledgling.

Normally I'm not one to even entertain the thought of commenting on a political thread, but I feel it would be disingenuous to click the button without any feedback in this case. This decision leaves me with a large enough lack of confidence in the future moderation of this community(especially given we're in an election year) such that I can't in good faith leave it on my feed and I will be blocking this comm after this comment.

While I agree that Ozma deserved a ban for spam, the justification used for this is frankly appalling. Misrepresentation of bias as bad-faith, especially with the admission that largely good sources were used is unacceptable.

The iconic police Crown Vic model was discontinued like a decade ago. Like 80% of police cars I see nowadays are SUV's.

On March 12, 2010, Ford Motor Company unveiled the Ford Police Interceptor Sedan. While sharing a nameplate with the Crown Victoria Police Interceptor, the Police Interceptor Sedan was a variant of the sixth-generation Ford Taurus, shifting from the long-running Panther chassis to an all-wheel drive version of the D3 architecture.[29]

In a design decision, the Police Interceptor Sedan did not adopt the Taurus nameplate, as it was sold alongside the Ford Police Interceptor Utility, derived from the Ford Explorer. Along with heavier-duty components and a redesigned interior, the Police Interceptor Sedan adopted higher-performance steering and suspension tuning. The standard engine was a 3.5-L V6, but a 3.7-L V6 (shared with the Mustang) later became the standard power plant. A twin-turbocharged EcoBoost V6 (shared with the Taurus SHO) was also available as an option.[30]

The Ford Police Interceptor Sedan was discontinued alongside the North American Ford Taurus model on March 1, 2019.[31] The Ford Police Interceptor Utility remains in production as of 2022 as Ford's main police vehicle, sharing its design with the civilian market Ford Explorer.[32]

I also expect they'll try to work it back in somehow to capture more revenue and/or data. If it's not this again in a stealthier form, then it'll be something similar. No crossplay without PSN or no credit store without PSN, something like that.

This is moreorless what I'm expecting. They will either strongly incentivize it when the publicity dies down or place restrictions on those that don't link accounts.

Maybe I'm just jaded, but I wonder how long it will be until Sony 'changes their mind' and tries to enforce contractual obligations again. I'm going to guess 6 months to wait for the negative PR to cool.

Yeah I eyeball too, but when you start getting into the 50/50 range things get dangerous so I keep it below that 😂 Most people don't like straight liquor so that's fair if you don't like it neat. I'm a big whiskey and gin drinker so I'll just make a Martini or Manhattan when the mood strikes. If I want something more refreshing a Mule is always great too if I can find good ginger beer!

I don't know, I tend to opt for a 1:2 ratio if I'm looking to make a strong-ish mixed drink(Any less and I feel like I should just drink the whisky neat honestly). With a normal 40% ABV liquor this ends up being about 13% total. If you do a more normal 1:3 ratio it's about 10%, so it's weak, but it's not that far off I guess.

I played the game a lot as a wee lad, but I genuinely cannot fathom how people still play GMS these days. Every few years I'll play for a few weeks on a private server for nostalgias sake. I'm quickly reminded why I stopped playing in the first place though.
