Two apps mlem and memmy, they're about equally old.

No. None of the above.

I even said I didn't know that sub specifically. But that's an issue with a lot of the man type spaces.

That and people irrationally feeling attacked for no reason whatsoever.

I don't know that sub specifically. But a lot of they man help a type subs aren't so much about men helping men as much as they are about men who have no ability to reflect on themselves complaining to each other how others, usually women or LGBTQ are the cause for their minability to take responsibility for their own actions.

forums is all around an infinitely better solution for support and discussions on specific tech and interest. It's also more searchable and less ephemeral. At least reddit and fediverse is better then ephemeral solutions like discord.

as fun as all this is, it's counterproductive.

Right now it's only giving spez a lot of extra traffic from people wanting to be creative and people wanting to see the shit storm. If people keep enjoying literal subs with shit posts, he doesn't care as long as he gets traffic and users before the IPO

if you can't act maturely i hear this guy Spez has an online community for you.

They're de-facto making mods employees by demanding how they moderate their communities and taking ownership of the users and communities

you only need to move the more techie knowledgeable user base here. The ones that mod and post content.

The average user provides nothing to the site but dead traffic. They'll come when the content is here.
