Yeah, that is a pretty shitty, anti-consumer practice. Still not entirely sure I'd give them the award of the most unethical, but that only speaks to the absolute shittiness of corporation, really.

What makes Epic "the most unethical game vendor"? Real question. The criticism I always see is "I already have a library on Steam and don't want two clients", which is understandable, but it!a hardly unethical to just exist.

Edit: Damn, people real don't like you asking totally fair and reasoned questions about the accepted narrative around here, huh?

I play a lot of genres of games and as a result like weird genre mashups, so Helskate really stuck out to me. Hades meets Tony Hawk's Pro Skater isn't a game I would have thought up myself, but it seems hella cool.

I just messed around with the demo a bit. There are some rough edges and no meta progression yet, but the core concept feels good. Landing a trick on an enemies head to proc stone effects and then following with a couple attacks to put them down is a super fun concept when you hit everything just right. A little bit of tactile feedback when you get hit and land things would really push the gameplay into the amazing territory.

No, no, no, Dungeons & Dragons turned us into devil worshipping heathens. The murderers all came from videogames.

Overall, we rate MeidasTouch Left Biased based on the negative portrayal of Donald Trump and Republicans and the promotion of Democratic candidates. We also rate them Mixed for factual reporting due to a lack of transparency with funding and the publication of one-sided content that can be misleading.

?

Just working with your sources. I don't care about Meidas Touch. I hadn't even heard of them before I stumbled into this thread.

I think it's okay to accept that everything and everyone has a bias. Removing bias from all reporting is simply impossible, so instead we work to understand our bias' and the bias' of others and instead call out non-factual reporting. So, to answer your question, I think it's okay to call out bad sources for being bad regardless of their lean, but I also don't think having a noteworthy lean makes a sourcebinherently bad.

I don't appreciate the straw man you're attempting to build for me. Trying to angrily have my half of the conversation while spewing a pile of assumptions about what I think is a bad look. Unless the look you're going for is "a random idiot", which, I mean, when someone tells you who they are, believe them.

Sure, but all the MBFC link proves is that Meidas Touch has an unapologetic left-leaning bias, and they tend to only bother running stories that support that bias. Unlike many other "mixed" factual reporting news sites, they're not in that category for lying and/or spreading misinformation. This suggests that the article is true. There's no value in your original insinuation that there's something wrong with the source of this information, as per your own link.

"Any lawyer who takes a TRUMP CASE is either 'CRAZY,' or a TRUE AMERICAN PATRIOT," Trump wrote

It's not often Trump writes something I agree with, but I have to admit, they are certainly one of those two things.

Because capitalism is hilariously shortsighted. Line must go up.

People tend not to like gyro aim.

People are wrong, but I am not surprised.

Downloaded a game which Windows Defender flagged as high-threat for containing "Cracked game content" the other day. Why yes, my cracked copy of this game IS cracked, thank you for noticing.

I was "meh" about the original, but the remake was genuinely amazing.

They honestly could not have picked a worse release window.

In a lot of ways, Enshrouded appeals to me. Valheim with more action RPG/MMO elements is an obvious hit to my interests, but I can't justify dropping $40 CAD so closely to paying roughly the same price for PalWorld, which admittedly had a much more different and interesting concept.

I'm sure I'll hop on board at some point, but this just wasn't the time.
