So… are these things real?

experimentally observed - yes this is the crux of the philosophical issue that makes me unable to sleep. Real or an illusion of something else altogether

Do the things we measure are real or are just the symptoms

Did they observe them or measured effects of their hypothetical properties?

Do these things actually exist or are they the best matching set of equations

‘Free’ always tastes better. It’s my favourite word. Free. It’s free. For free. 0 dollars. Gratis. Free of cost. On the house. Never had buyers remorse from acquiring something for free

My second favourite is ‘Cheap’

Interwebs are too addicting. It’s like we are all in one room and are snorting coke by ourselves.

It’s one thing to read a newspaper or a book, different one to scroll social media stuck in an infinite loop of dopamine. Our lives may be longer than ever but in practice they are shorter than ever

I went the route of substance desensitisation and copious amounts of self delusion. I am doing super fine 🌈

The alcohol is actually so good because not only it makes you happier for a time but also makes you dumber

War movies all lost luster if they ever had any after watching a lot of real footage due to Ukraine. It’s just all romanticised crap. Can’t stand anymore a minute of that weepy music and slowmos like there’s some kind of point or art to the bloody, shit stinking, bloated corpses, meat grinder

Fediverse is not super far from original internet idea with the exception of convenient block feature. Let’s hope that’s enough to prevent the sequel.
