Is there a reason I’m seeing someone mention Rimworld in multiple unrelated posts?

I embarrassingly bought into the gamepass fantasy. I thought that we would start seeing more smaller and experimental experiences, better quality control for bigger titles. I thought that it would allow developers to have a piece of mind, a steady income and job security. When a few of my favourite developers were bought up I was happy for them, that they could feel a sense of stability. Now if a dev gets bought by Microsoft I now worry for their future and I can’t imagine being employed by them. I just hope the one who have been played off can find their footing.

I’m not sure where but I know it was a point of contention that they made up over. There was a moment where tenacious D was brought onto stage as Jack Black and that pissed/hurt him a lot. So what they are saying is kinda of true but they’ve already talked and made up so why they are bringing it up as a gotcha is a bit strange.

Yes, there is a reason so many people say go for a walk. It’s not cure all, you still need to work on your mental health. This is how I’ve come to explain it. when your body is unhealthy it has to work harder, a mentally ill person is already working harder. If you get your body healthy you will have more capacity for your mental health. Though like others have pointed out, do something you enjoy. I started with walking and moved to running but the walking alone was good. I had no idea I would enjoy it but once I started it became habit.

This is something that drives me crazy, where I live we don’t have food stamps but we have things that are similar. When I was going to miss a Mortgage payment and didn’t have food to eat I called one of the support lines and was told for the mortgage I had to wait for an eviction notice. For the food I had to email them my bank statements before they gave me like 50 for groceries. Forget programs line LTD, I know someone who had to spend at least once a week to remind his insurance he was off because of fucking cancer. Are there some bad actors? Sure. Is there enough to punish everyone? Fuck no.
