The destination is in latin america so it should be a bit cheaper, especially since it is not in costa rica. I was pretty much just thinking the photographer's time, editing, and digital copies.

Putting on my conspiracy hat, I think mexico got paid to throw the game. I have absolutely no proof to backup this claim, but seeing qatar airways sponsorship makes me think more about it. Mexico had their 1st place group finish guaranteed so the loss didn't affect them, and qatar advances out of group stages.
