Especially for heavy machinery. Electric motors have instantaneous torque that far exceeds industrial diesels and weight actually helps secure loads and allows massive regenerative brakes. So it can get jobs done faster and cost less. Also unlike private cars, you're not going to use it outside of work hours so you just charge it when your shift is over.

I literally went through this pyramid while standing in the LEGO store a couple years ago. Was like, yeah you know what, this will bring me a lot of joy for years both building it and looking at it. Also it was right after it came back in sale and they were $1000 on eBay. So I was like yeah I need to buy it now! So yeah anyway I spent $800 on a LEGO set lmao
