I have prior MOBA experience and played Deadlock for around 50 hours already, and it's a good game IMO. Of course, it's not perfect and I do have a couple issues with it but it kinda deserves the hype.

Sounds like skill issue to be honest - if you farm well and deny you don't fall far behind even if you eat dirt during the laning phase. Even if you get absolutely stomped and denied, there are still a lot of chances for you to return into the game by catching waves and pushing them out and jungling.

I'm kinda mid-to-high MMR right now (to the point where I can't really play together with friends as we get always separated), and I've had so many games where I went 0/5 in the laning phase with a soul deficit, then ended up jungling/pushing waves/jumping on enemies if they were alone and then suddenly being top or close to top in souls on my team.

That's hella funny if real, I thought Liz was a diehard libertarian who's against any government intervention when it comes to the free market?

When I was doing my Chemistry class in like 6th grade (Eastern European btw), we had to memorize it as one of our first assignments lol. Ofc, we didn't need to know the full table but progressively learn the first 30-50 elements over the span of few months.

Welcome to the club - after starting to use window managers around 3 years ago at this point, I haven't gone back. Whenever I'm forced to use Windows or a regular DE, I start instinctively abusing virtual desktops feature lol

I don't think this is a good thing. While the current form of conservatism was kind of started by Trump via whatever horrible things he was saying, it's a pandora's box that was opened and will probably never be closed again as long as there's an audience to the talking points. If Trump were to become effectively disowned by conservatives, they're likely going to replace him with someone even worse (someone like Mike Johnson or any other christian fundamentalist) which is the true horror.

Also remember - all this talk from conservatives about Trump being a "bad candidate" is not because his policies or project 2025 are bad, it's only because he's no longer that popular.

This doesn't make any sense - fighting climate change isn't some local effort where if you suddenly stop doing CO2 emissions in your country, the country becomes suddenly safe. There needs to be a radical global cooperation for this, there's no place for patriotism here (in fact, what needs to be done is closer to cosmopolitanism).

I read it as AI somehow making more people sick therefore more of them needing to go see pharmacists, therefore pharmacists seeing more patients

Didn't Musk unironically have a burner twitter account where he would pretend to be a 3 year old child? Grok might be onto something here

While I do see your point, I think the main idea behind this post is that we're told that we live in civilized free western world, but once we rebel, speak ill or become in any way a 'threat' to people on top (while staying within the rules of society of course), that's when you get punished for it.

Something I'll give to autocratic countries is that even though you have no freedom, at least you're fully aware of it. In western countries, you have some freedom but are led to believe you actually have more, if not full, freedom.

Doubt procrastination will stop even after 60-70 becomes a new high in those countries and people start dying en masse
