if the manufacturer of the device itself isnt trustworthy everything you do to try and make the device "trustworthy" is futile because OEMs could not just implement backdoors at the software level, but firmware or even hardware level.

Maybe it's because you got 80.000 tech bros and other rich assholes driving hundreds of miles in gas guzzling trucks and RVs to have a bourgeoisie orgy and leave a huge mess behind.

You can already do all that without NFTs and NFTs don't improve on any of existing ways to do that in any way

Ram and storage are both dirt cheap, I'd consider any new laptop/pc with only 8gb non upgradable RAM ewaste these days. 2tb NVMe drives have dropped below 100€ already and 1tb below 50€

When i tap a post in Jerboa i get a back button to return where i was but in the browser version it is missing, i know this wouldnt be an issue as the browser has its own back button but i wanna use Lemmy as a PWA so it would be very useful.
