One of the top comments says:

A horrifying thought just occurred to me: this is the version of the song for Debbie's two kids in high school.

FUCK.

Lunacid. Been following this game for a while now and managed to get the true ending a while ago. Phenomenal game. 100% recommended if you enjoy the King's Field games.

I really don't understand where this sentiment of games feeling like a "chore" is now suddenly applicable to ONLY modern gaming. Let's not sit around and pretend that a sizable chunk of older games weren't insane clusterfuck monotonous slogfests either. This is NOT a "modern gaming" trope, insanely grindy and tedious games have been around since video games were a thing.

As the top comment said, it's the same with Ubisoft, Activision, etc etc.

In all honesty, the gaming community is just... rather dumb. These people will spend dozens of hours on twitter bashing these developers to hell and back, but what are the top sellers every year? FIFA. Madden. CoD. Ubisoft games. Activision games.

This community will sit here and curse these developers and gaming companies with their last dying breath, but the fact of the matter is these SAME people continue to buy the games and be content with what's equivalent to digital slop. It's frustrating.

Personally, I'm just waiting for a massive data broker leak to happen that involves politicians and other useless wanks like that. That'll really jump their bones.

At this point I'm not whether sure I should be angry, cry, or laugh while crying.

Whatever happened after the frutiger aero days. Everything after that era of design is just a shitty solid color with maybe a gradient color if the design team is feeling particularly zesty. Back then, UI's were designed to be cozy and comfortable. Now it's just stiff and professional.

Honestly, makes me scared for the future. What kind of other insanely invasive bullshit will they introduce in the future all in the name of "b-but think of the children!"

The worst part is, you KNOW they're gonna sit there and hassle individuals for not complying and hit you with "Oh, so what, you don't care about the kids? This is to protect the kids, Timmy! The KIDS!!!"
