The emotion in this image. The way it creates such a complex yet, thought provoking story. This master piece challenges our perception the anarchnoid race. Here, we have a human that has purchased products designed to murder spiders that they don't know. But one lone spider puts themselves between the man and the weapon. This spider could be saving anyone. It's parents, it's wife, it's children. We don't know but what we do know is that this spider is not afraid. Makes you wonder who the real vermin is here.

As someone who resides in a rainforest, I see this spider as an ally. He is a fierce hunter that hides away most of the day, and hunts down cockroaches during the night.

At this point I've come to cherish the moments that I get to cross paths with these creatures. Our interactions are never negative, and I am grateful to be allied with such a peaceful sentinel.

That said, I believe a person's home is their castle and if the flames must be thrown, so be it.

Yes, but this looks like a wolf spider. Wolf spiders are yard spiders that run very very fast and therefore are required to stay in the yard. It is the law. There's nothing I can do about it.

(Or it's my childhood trauma. It's definitely one of those things...)

Wolf spiders love my basement and I am happy to accommodate them.

Most people I know keep their Raid under the kitchen sink. I'm going to buy a big bag of plastic spiders and place them on their cans.
