I filtered a community in the filters section in settings but I was still seeing that community in my feed.

So I opened the community and then blocked it with the options in the toolbar.

This worked but the community is not seen in the filtered communities.

So where exactly I see and manage my blocked communities?

EDIT: If anyone search this post later, I think that there is a difference withing BLOCK and FILTER a community.

BLOCK is at the instance level and related to my account in that instance.

FILTER is at the Sync app level.

I have tried both methods and they both meet my goal to stop seeing a community but if is best for me to use FILTER so I can manage this and see a list of what I have blocked in the Sync app.

The disadvantage with this second method is that if I use another app to access lemmy, or my instance, then I will see all the communities that I didn't want.

Not a big deal as it looks like I will be sticking with the Sync app.

It's under Filters, if you just search in settings you'll see different types of filter, instance/community/user etc.

As explained in the post, the blocked community doesn't appear there.

Weird, I just checked and shows up for me.

Did you perhaps block the instance instead of the community accidentally?

I believe you have to load the website for that presently.

Ran into this same issue. Looks like you have to go to the actual instance site to see the blocked list. They don't show up in filters for me either
