- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning
We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.

do you have any idea the optics of making your entire political identity being about how you came from Appalachian roots, and then fucking going after a Jewish Ukrainian just to be a fucking bully? Volodymyr Zelenskyy is more of us than JD Vance is. Appalachia is a hermit crab region of people who landed here trying to flee prosecution somewhere else. our cultural roots are a blend of native american, African, ulster scot, Jewish, German, and eastern European (largely polish and Ukrainian with a touch of russian).
this fuckin' putz just attacked someone who embodies much of Appalachia's struggle. and do you know what he did it to do? he did it to perpetrate the continuation of our struggle. we are a region rich with mineral wealth, but poor because outside interests have robbed us blind through trickery, coercion, and violence. the current development plan of my part of Appalachia centers around the development of pipelines to transport petroleum from the country north of us to ports along our nation's southern coast, and to mine the rare earths under our soil. sound familiar?
