From one perennial sunken ship to another sinking ship. Binotto thrives in chaos I guess lol.

I suggested that in another post.

Mattia is the best option for them, as they need someone with F1 experience. And besides someone outside of F1, no one else is available in 2024.

And I doubt they will get Cyril back.

> they need someone with F1 experience

Why? Mike Krack came from sportscar racing. If anything, maybe Alpine should look at the about to be dissolved Audi sportscar venture for capable people instead of Ferrari clowns.

Hmm… idk, I just can’t picture Binotto at Alpine for some reason (but that’s just me).

Cyril and RIC comeback stroy in one season - one can only dream

Makes sense when you put into perspective the recent news about Alpine’s engine being down on power compared to everyone else.

Binotto is an engine guy…

Never thought of it that way… but this actually makes sense!

Silly season already started early I guess haha

Binotto would be funny but I am also hoping for a Cyril + Danny come back in one year.

Ferrari continuing to be a complete fiasco certainly helps his chances of being brought on

Binotto with his knowledge and experience could be a good asset, though yet again I'm not sure that he should be a team principal. But from the outside this project looks like a mess, I'm not sure why would he go to Alpine.

I think Binotto is aiming for Audi, but if they are not interested for 2024 a d 2025 Alpine might be at least something until Audi comes in.

Both Alpine and Audi need someone who has experience in developing both chassis and engine, and I doubt Merc will ever take Mattia.
