Following that link directly is giving me a server error, and it doesn't bring anything except up in search except your comment. Is there a particular way I'm supposed to use it?
Yeah the link seems dead. Don't know what the other guy was suggesting but I used lemmony, which works quite well despite being a bit on the clunky side.
This link and the associated community appear dead.
TIL .sh is a valid TLD
seems a dangerous idea, even worse than .zip (I clicked on your title and i went to visit http://hello-world.sh)
Whoops! I did the title as a joke. I wonder what I goofed that caused it to become a link.
Simply my client assumed that's an URL because it ended with a valid TLD
It has interesting uses but I agree it’s more than a teeny bit dangerous. https://getamp.sh/ uses it to simplify the install command.
Well, I can confirm you made it all the way across the fediverse divide into my kbin instance fine.
There’s quite a few subscriber bots you can run to populate your server with minimal effort.
What happened to lemmy.fmhy.ml?
Their domain was killed by Mali government because they decided giving free .ml was a mistake . Lemmy.ml is in danger too or any .ml instance
Well. Shit.
Hope the .world is safe for now. Since you know.. It's the world.
only two-letter tlds are controlled by specific countries. i forget who owns the specific tld for .world but i doubt they can pull this trick, there's a lot of competition there
icannwiki.org says a company called Identity Digital owns a number of TLDs, including .world
Domain issues due to drama with the .ml namespace.

This is a post from their admin team. In short, the Mali government has taken back their domain space. Right now, for me, FMHY is kinda up, but mostly down. Nothing really works, but I can occasionally see my feed (up to date, too), and if I click on any links I get a timed out error.
Lemmy.world here! Looks like things are working okay
I used this bot to get some subscriptions on my instance: https://github.com/lflare/lemmy-subscriber-bot
Yea!!! It's working! I can see this post from lemmy.world's public feed. That was quick.
