Russian officials have said that the purpose of the labs is to study Ebola viruses and other deadly microbes in order to protect Russia from possible bioterrorism.

So they are weaponizing Ebola and other deadly microbes in order to commit bioterrorism.

Every statement they make, the complete opposite is the truth.

Remember the claim that the West was operating biolabs in Ukraine?

Every accusation is an admission…

As part of the supposed "casus beli" against Ukraine. So Russia expanding their bio-weapon labs means...

Ok but to be fair that first part is how that works. In order to treat and immunize against a powerful virus/bacteria, you need a powerful virus/bacteria. So any biolab will be partially focused on creating powerful bioweapons, so that they can create cures to those same weapons

I've been wondering what the endgame is for Russia if they can't defeat Ukraine. You know they won't accept defeat without some scorched earth sorta business first...dirtier and dirtier tricks etc. This is gonna get a lot worse before it ends...

Operation Unthinkable should have happened. It would have meant millions more deaths right after WW II, but it would have prevented decades more of Russian oppression in the Soviet "republics" (ie. their colonies).

It was our last chance to unfuck Russia, but now that they have nuclear weapons, they're going to be a threat to the rest of the world for as long as they exist.

I never realised what it was called but have always thought that we should never have stopped when we did. Yes it would have been costly in loss of personnel (civ and military) and expensive but think of all the suffering and money saved by not having a Soviet Union.
