Averaging 10°F above normal here still. I’ll settle for even getting fall at this point.

Oh wow yeah, I did not think about it but... perhaps this meme was too hopefully optimistic even?! Wow. :-|

Oh dang! It's definitely fall here. We had a wind storm a few days ago that brought some snow. It melted before it hit the ground, but it was falling.

Stupid thing is, it should have been here already. But it's the end of October and it's still almost 20°C in the afternoon.

While 20C is too much, winter shouldn't be here already. We're in the middle of the fall, the first half if we're specific (21 Sept to 21 Dec).

True. In the Netherlands the distinction between autumn and winter weather is usually not very big though.

Maybe in the future, these memes might start to mean that it's safe to go outside in such heat (reduced from the northern summertime)!

@petrescatraian@libranet.de Yes, one of these months surely it will come... eventually:-).

@OpenStars Clearly, there's only two months left in this year, and one of them will surely be in winter ;)

Southern hemisphere master race.

[–] OpenStars@piefed.social 1 points 2 weeks ago

But it is still called "winter", RIGHT!? :-P

Eventually... maybe... we'll see I guess!? 😉

It's definitely on the way where I live. I wish it wasn't, but it is.

Where I am at, it will be 80 °F (27 °C) in a couple days so... not quite here for me, not yet. But presumably one day! Maybe. Probably. Hopefully!? 😂

Man, I'd trade you if I could. It's 40-50 degrees here, grey, and wet. I love sunshine and 80 degree days.

It'll probably be the last one... but then again, I said that the last several times too. I'll try to enjoy it enough for both of us! 😄
