Those are wax beans.
Thanks for the heads up! Still looks delicious. Do you blanch them?
I'm not OP.
Not with that attitude you're not! ;p
Me too, it's one of the most versatile meal in the world.
I do not like wraps. It's just stuff in a cold tortilla. Like getting a burrito in Tennessee or another place that doesn't have good burritos.
The solution is to steam the tortilla first, solving the dry and flaking tortilla problem.
Either run water over each side and mocrowave on a plate for 30ish seconds or wet a paper towel, lay it over the tortilla on a plate and microwave for about 40 seconds. Either way the tortilla becomes soft and slightly moist so that when the toppings are added it can be folded without breaking and will stick to itself and it will cool off quickly.
TIL
Heat it with a pan, griddle, foil, anyway that gets a little color.
I don't think the cold tortilla is the problem, though it doesn't help. They all use shitty tortillas.
...cold tortilla?
It's like a hot tortilla, but not hot.
Not in my america
My brain cannot process the physics in this picture. Is the tortilla levitating in some skewed reality? What is it sitting upon?? It appears to be hovering.
Wrap it then!
i've always wondered what makes a wrap different than a burrito.
the most common response i get is that they have different contents; but that reeks of privilege to me because chicanos poor enough literally grow up with pasta burritos; salad burritos; pb&j burritos; etc because it's so much cheaper than bread.
