I just paint my stuff and then buy new, can't have a pile of shame if you don't have a pile.
Warhammer 40k
A community dedicated to the universe of Warhammer 40k, a tabletop setting in the far, distant future.
This is a general community for 40k miniatures, art, lore discussion, and gameplay discussion.
Rules
- Keep it civil.
- No memeposts/shitposts. Memes are great but direct them to grimdank.
- Please mark any posts containing realistic nudity or realistic excessive gore/violence as NSFW; this rule mainly applies to cosplay and realistic drawings rather than miniatures. Being that 40k is inherently violent, this is a judgement call, and mods may occasionally request posters add tags.
- No political or social cause agenda pushing.

I have a spreadsheet sheet on my Google drive
It's uh... Too long...
I may have a problem.
It's probably not good that I'm actively considering doing the same now... In my defence I'm in the process of starting a 30k army, plus repainting one of my 40k armies so my work list is extra long right now...
Oh, the repainting. I have an old metal Guard army that I want to redo to bring it back into tenth ed. I'm a little intimidated.
I use a notes app and just have a list of stuff I own. Or you could use paper, whatever your vibe is.
I do the note app thing too. I got tripped up by mixed boxed sets
Oh I've done that too. Hah. I just go " well okay, I guess I have more of these"
I think I can name every single Model I have - unpainted or painted
They have names too!? Top drawer lore commitment
Every once in a while I just decide I'm not buying any minis for X amount of time. For example, August to December this year, I'm not buying any.
