Only approved bots, which follow the guidelines for bots set by the instance, are allowed.

4. Post titles should be the same as the article used as source.

Posts which titles don’t match the source won’t be removed, but the autoMod will notify you, and if your title misrepresents the original article, the post will be deleted. If the site changed their headline, the bot might still contact you, just ignore it, we won’t delete your post.

8. Misinformation is prohibited.

Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.

9. No link shorteners.

The auto mod will contact you if a link shortener is detected, please delete your post if they are right.

10. Don't copy entire article in your post body

For copyright reasons, you are not allowed to copy an entire article into your post body. This is an instance wide rule, that is strictly enforced in this community.

[–] Gerudo@lemm.ee 12 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Jesus christ, not even renaming it.

[–] Notyou@sopuli.xyz 3 points 1 week ago

Why rename it when you have that name recognition? I mean after getting your name known in households across the US, it would be stupid to rename your business.....

[–] ech@lemm.ee 34 points 1 week ago

How this guy is allowed to run anything like this again, let alone the same exact scam is beyond me. Wtf.

[–] BossDj@lemm.ee 26 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Let's be real. A ton of people will pay to go even if it's another absolute shit show, or especially if it's another shit show, just for the media attention. I genuinely hope it's an absolute flop, but I feel like influencers will flock

If he's ripping off rich people and obnoxious social media influencers, I'll help print flyers or something

You get meat with the cheese sandwich this time.

[–] dwemthy@lemdro.id 14 points 1 week ago

Technically you get to meet with the cheese sandwich. They could only afford one cheese sandwich and you meet with it over zoom to make sure you don't eat it

[–] TheHotze@lemmy.world 13 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Dashcon 2 is also happening, and will at least have a ball pit.

[–] humorlessrepost@lemmy.world 2 points 1 week ago

I’d prefer Fluttercon, but I’ll take it.

[–] tacosanonymous@lemm.ee 13 points 1 week ago

It's a bold strategy, Cotton. Let's see if it pays off for 'em.

[–] caveman8000@lemmy.world 11 points 1 week ago

Yo, get Ja on the phone.

[–] hopesdead@startrek.website 11 points 1 week ago (1 children)

I want receipts and video footage before I believe this.

[–] snooggums@midwest.social 9 points 1 week ago (1 children)

I mean, they had (staged) footage and (fraudulent) receipts the first time.

[–] hopesdead@startrek.website 2 points 1 week ago

Right. I totally forgot about that. Well maybe I want to hear it from the artist being invited to perform.

[–] ravhall@discuss.online 9 points 1 week ago

I don’t want the negativity that I bring to kill something before it’s ready

Too late buddy

[–] cmrn@lemmy.world 6 points 1 week ago

Hmm this headline doesn’t remind me of anything in US politics…

[–] Cossty@lemmy.world 6 points 1 week ago

At least internet historian will have material for new video.

[–] bilb@lem.monster 5 points 1 week ago
