Just wondering because I'm not sure yet myself. I've read that many of the core mechanics would be updated/changed even in the base game. Because of that I'm thinking about starting from the beginning.

I kinda don't want to go through the early sections all over again but it feels like you gotta restart with all the changes to core gameplay. I really wish we had NG+ at the very least for skin and vehicle unlocks, maybe a few weapons if they get scaled down so they don't make the game trivially easy. I want Johnny's gun earlier in the game 😥

My first build was cyberdeck/stealth/pistol and it made the most sense, for the second one I tried sandevistan/techie and it felt weird. Maybe I go back and replay with a stealth oriented one since it was fun despite the janky hacking.

I'm inclined to actually.

Didn’t they say there would be a decent amount of time between when 2.0 was released and the release of the DLC? I was planning on starting a new game up once 2.0 gets released and seeing all the changes before the DLC comes out and I check that out.

I’ve been waiting for the expension to actually finish the game, so yes.

I really want to play the game right now, start a new file, make a new build. But I should probably wait until phantom liberty comes out. I am so hyped I cannot wait.

Yeah I feel you kind of have to because they changed everything from skills and equipment. Starting fresh is probably best in case there are bugs with your old saves.
