Thanks to the Indian guy who showed me how to replace the back of my smartphone. π€
shoutouts to the Indian guys who post niche programming algorithms tutorials.
Yeah. Back when I needed help with programming homework, there was always that reliable dude from India.
Luckily they started talking instead of having some Beat-Style music and an Editor Window they type into.
Let the bodies hit the floor,
Let the bodies hit the floor,
Let the bodies hit the... FLOOOOOR!
Nah it's like early 2000's edm like 009 Sound System - Dreamscape.
The nostalgia is hitting me
I accidentally factory reset a VFD, which has hundreds of configurable options, and only by the grace of potato-quality tech youtubers, I was able to find a small handful of configs to make it work again.
Bless you Pradesh and your obscure ebike battery teardown, you are a credit to humanity.
Thank you Ahmad for fixing my obscure Linux error

A lovely southern USA gentleman showed me how to rejigger the video cable in my laptop (it had gotten pinched and was flickering intermittently). He also gently chidded the other video showing how to take apart the same laptop for doing it the hard way. The other video was a wonderful descent into cursing.
Sometimes not even a accent. There is always that dude who keeps alt tabbing to the text document where he types things out for you.
βI want to get into amateur radio, I sure wish there was a video that intuitively explained the fundamental workings of frequency modulation and RF transmissionβ
Some guy in his basement in Bangladesh with a circuit board and a notepad:
Bless them.
Random video just like this helped me replace the LEDs on a TV and got it running good as new. Thanks stranger
Sometimes itβs a YouTuber who makes windows movie maker style tutorials using every transition effect they can find
had to replace the motor on my very old washer, found 1 video filmed but a retired guy and he made his wife hold the camera the whole time.
Sounds like the same guy who taught me how to tear-down and clean my lawnmower's carburetor. Appreciate that man
Thank you to the 2 minute video that helped me prove to my boyfriend that tidepods do not belong in the washing machineβs soap container. β¦. And for informing me that I should have been putting them in first and not on top. π
Solved networking issues and many more things this way, bless those tiny channels that no one uses!
I owe my thanks to all the indian tutorials on math and algorythms, that were still better at explaining the problem than my proffesor, even though half of the tutorial was in hindy.
Idk why but I can't really follow YouTube tutorials. Written ones are much much better for me.
I'm sure there will be an AI that converts from video to instructions. For me it's really hard to find the part that I'm having difficulty with. I'm fine with most of it, there's just one step I need clarified
Every time. Super clutch, as my handiness around the house is pretty much βIs there a YouTube video?β, then Iβm good.
Started a vegetable garden this year and learned tons. Too bad itβs (yt) ran by a shit company and I have to have an account to show support for content creators outside of like a Patreon or buymeacoffee type thing.
I always make sure to award those videos if they have it set up
I find these videos so relaxing, like ASMR
Double bonus, I learn something!
This was me today trying to figure out how to set up a dedicated server for Sons of the Forest. Busted mic man blew threw everything but that 6min tutorial was immensely helpful in helping me install everything before I broke my modem by tweaking the static ipv4 settings π
For me, chatgpt replaced them.
