Upvote the film you'd like to watch the most in the comments below!

Nominations are in for August's Fedi Film Club - Popcorn Threatre (see nominations post here).

Not too many nominations this time (just 3 ... did people find the name "popcorn threatre" offensive of confusing?)

But it's a nice trio of films ... Honestly, I would enjoy watching them all on a nice Saturday marathon!

Each one in is a separate comment below, which you can upvote.

And, for clarity, they're also in the list below, in alphabetical order.

If you have any handy tips on the best way to get a hold of any of these, please share! Note though that the high seas in general are likely are well known option.

  • Blade (1998)
  • Dredd (2012)
  • Sneakers (1992)

And of course, the main point of all this is to crowd-source human curated film recommendations. I'll definitely want to watch more than one of these and encourage the same!

EDIT: As for watching together at the end of the month:

  • If anyone is up to setting up one of those online live watch things ... please feel free to run it and we'll promote it here.
  • Otherwise, I'll keep going with what I tried last month: Live discussion threads in three different timezones scheduled for a weekend watch, or any other time people would find more convenient ... where you can start the film yourself at home, at the scheduled time and engage in live-discussion in the thread.
