I’m actually making some Lemmynade right now:
Showerthoughts
A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. The best ones are thoughts that many people can relate to and they find something funny or interesting in regular stuff.
Rules
- All posts must be showerthoughts
- The entire showerthought must be in the title
- Posts must be original/unique
- Be good to others - no bigotry - including racism, sexism, ableism, homophobia, transphobia, or xenophobia
- Adhere to Lemmy's Code of Conduct
Charge your phone tho friend
I live life on the edge
Man that’s great! I can’t wait to try out your app
Looks like a great app but reminds me too much of the official Reddit app
Yes, I started with this layout intentionally to make it easy for those using the Reddit website or app to switch over. There will be a range of themes, colors, and customizability down the road too
When Reddit gives you lemons, don’t make lemmynade. Make Reddit take the lemons back! Get mad! I don’t want your damn lemons, what the hell am I supposed to do with these?
Lemmy just throw those right back
What a waste of good lemons. Take their juice and pour them onto... You know what, forget it. I am not giving in to my hate.
It's usually a bad sign if a new social media platform only talks about another one (see bluesky, every other post is about Twitter) but I gotta say, most of the content on here is actually not referencing reddit (ignoring this very post) which I think is a good sign that the community here is flourishing.
I know I get my shit posting and meme fix already through lemmy alone and a bunch of communities have migrated and are frequented enough that I don't feel the need to open reddit anymore (at least at this point).
Nothing gross about a Lemmy Party 🥳🍋
Someone needs to create /c/puns
Or you could burn life's house down, with the lemons
