For those not in the USA/Canada, Cottage Cheese may be known as something else in your country or may not be there at all. Also similar to Curds and Whey, Rögös túró, Requeijão da Beira Baixa, Serra da Estrela, and Katiki Domokou.

Over the decades, it's popularity has been fading as flavored and plain yogurts have soared, but now Cottage Cheese is making a comeback!

I love cottage cheese! It's great as a dip for pringles.

I enjoy it, but I only learned to eat it about a year ago. It took me such a long time because it looks so unappetizing. Now I love it with savory flavors. I especially like it as a replacement for salad dressing -- I'm getting extra protein with some added flavor. And my current favorite snack is cottage cheese with cucumbers, red onions and everything bagel seasoning.

I tried it a while back and couldn’t get over the texture. Maybe I’ll try again in a few more years haha.

I grew up with cottage cheese and still love the stuff. Especially with chives and a splash of pumpkin seed oil.

Cottage Cheese never went away for the Midwest. It was a staple of my childhood growing up.
