If you want a fun rabbit hole to fall into, look up the Hollywood side of this

Like for example how we have to use tiger sounds for lion roars now because it was used once for effect and it worked really well but now people expect that sound out of a lion.

Same with Bald Eagles. The sound you think they make is actually from a Red-Tailed Hawk. Bald Eagles chirp.

Can confirm this happens. My ex-flatmate was struck by lightning on a sunny day in Florida, knocked unconscious and suffered from some internal burns. Also her eyes glowed faintly for the following week (enough to be seen in the dark).

The iris, blazing green (much more green then they usually are). We don't know how it happened to this day.
