Video game news oriented community. No NanoUFO is not a bot :)

Copyright pressures increased dramatically with takedowns and legal burden. The site shifted from serving mostly contributing humans to bots and overzealous people abusing resources. They drowned everybody else out.

This is a very diplomatic way of blaming Nintendo and other companies without specifically naming them.
