...pay attention to Leonard Leo. He is the judicial kingmaker responsible for the list from which Trump selected Justices Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett. Leo has shaped this Court and acted effectively to keep its Republican justices from abandoning his – and their – sectarian-right vision of America.

I wish people would fuck off with their religions. If you want to be religious or whatever, fine, but stop trying to force your mind-numbingly idiotic beliefs on everyone else.

They do it because we let them. The vast majority of us don't even challenge the random stranger holding a sign. We are patient and polite to people who come knocking. We laugh and make fun when we receive stuff in the mail.

Like it or not those of us who don't like this are far too tolerant.

Nah. I saw two dudes in suits coming to my door with pamphlets on Saturday. When they rang I opened the door and told them I was an atheist then closed it. I have no patience for that shit anymore.

John Yoo made contributions as well under the auspices of the War on Terror.

You mean John Yoo who wrote the bullshit legal opinions that turned the United States into a country that tortured people?

That John Yoo?

"It's not torture. It's 'enhanced interrogation.'"

That John Yoo?

Why does he look like Evil Stephen Colbert? Not like Stephen Colbert, but specifically like an evil version of him from a universe that doesn't use goatees to identify the evil counterparts

I remember when there were all these raging science vs religion debates about 15 years ago......but in recent years, it looks like lots of debatelords who were on the side of science and atheism in that debate jumped into the MAGA bandwagon and start to say theocracy is necessary to control the masses...scary crowd.

I haven't encountered a single person who supports trump who was previously on the side of science. Everybody who's in the MAGA crowd now weren't the brightest bulbs to begin with.

All the ones I know are Jordan Peterson fans. It's like he managed to hijack 1/3 the reaction against the vicious monopoly of virtue by religion into a reductive hate of the left's moralism (the good and the bad parts) through a synthesis of psychology, theology and sociology.

Didn't Leeja Miller just make a YouTube vid about this guy? I'm pretty sure she did.

I'll edit and update with a link if she did
