Yeah the migration to Lemmy has been wonderful for meme quality. This will be looked back upon as an excellent vintage for memes, whatever other extraneous bullshit occurs x

/jk my instance is getting funded quite well but don't know how long it can be maintained given how popular it's becoming.
Edit: not my own instance. But rather the instance that I'm on (lemm.ee)
If you manage the finances with transparency, do not be afraid to give them visibility to the point of obnoxiousness. Wikipedia's constant requests for money got me mildly angry many years ago, but being exposed to the need to maintain what is essentially a public service made me donate several times in the end.
True, I donated twice to them only because of their nagging 😄
