I only watch Data being on trial on loop. Not the whole episode, just the trial.

Re-route power to the shields, emit a tachyon pulse through the deflector, and post all the nonsense you want. Within reason of course.
~ 1. No bigotry. This is a Star Trek community. Remember that diversity and coexistence are Star Trek values. Any post/comments that are racist, anti-LGBT, or generally "othering" of a group will result in removal/ban.
~ 2. Keep it civil. Disagreements will happen both on lore and preferences. That's okay! Just don't let it make you forget that the person you are talking to is also a person.
~ 3. Use spoiler tags. This applies to any episodes that have dropped within 3 months prior of your posting. After that it's free game.
~ 4. Keep it Trek related. This one is kind of a gimme but keep as on topic as possible.
~ 5. Keep posts to a limit. We all love Star Trek stuff but 3-4 posts in an hour is plenty enough.
~ 6. Try to not repost. Mistakes happen, we get it! But try to not repost anything from within the past 1-2 months.
~ 7. No General AI Art. Posts of simple AI art do not 'inspire jamaharon'

Fun will now commence.

Touché! I made the above meme about 5 years ago as a reply to a Reddit post. You’re the first to create a response other than a downvote. And a contextually-relevant one!
Bravo!
Unlike me, who has to take periodic breaks from my endless Trek playlist to watch other stuff.
Wait, there's other stuff you can watch?
Yeah that's what I thought, other shows that aren't Star Trek... what a funny person.
Yeah, got a bit of a backlog of stuff to watch. This whole "prestige television" era is making it feel like a chore. Gotta commit all this time and attention to new characters and stories... Hey, I wonder what Kirk's up to.
Just did a binge of The Bad Batch S03. Man, Filoni is on fire! I wish we had him making nuTrek stuff.
I'm only 3 episodes into the latest. So far, good stuff as expected. Just a bummer this is it.
S03 will be the last, but only half the episodes are out so far. There will be 15 this season. So far, there have been 3 major story parts to the plot, and they’re all pretty heavy. And awesome. if you’ve like the story so far, this season is the best so far! They’re packing a lot in and making the most of this season. It’s paced very fast.
Edit: spoilers, sweetie!: (not really) in the last couple of episodes currently available, we get to see an old friend ツ nothing too special, but it’s nice to see them.
No worries and I'm fairly certain who you're talking about. Kinda expected that person to show up again.
I think you got it ;)
Also, don’t be too bummed out. We already know how this story ends and that we’re gonna see them again (in Rebels). This story is but a link in a very long chain, and more links keep appearing here and there. Ahaoka just showed us that. Finally, we found Ezra! (I cried for 20 minutes!) And now Ahsoka and Sabine are lost in a galaxy maybe not so far, far away…
It's out??? I know what I'm doing tonight!
The first half is out.
Q episodes - best episodes
"Bride of Chaotica" but not "In the Pale Moonlight"?
For shame.
I'd have included at least a dozen more, but meme space is limited. Also, shout out for "The Magnificent Ferengi."
Funny, I hated that episode when I saw it. Seemed like a betrayal of everything the Federation and Starfleet were supposed to stand for.
Strange to think it's well-received after having such a strong reaction at the time.
That's exactly the point of the episode. It's a breakdown of deontology (actions are either good or evil themselves, regardless of their outcomes) compared to consequentialism (good or evil is determined by the outcome of said acts). It's all well and good for the Federation to adhere to its morals, but the result of that adherence was Sisko posting growing casualty lists in the wardroom week after week. Was Sisko morally wrong for causing the assassination of a Romulan Senator, a criminal, his own ideals, and indirectly causing the deaths of thousands or millions of Romulans, in exchange for shortening the war?
Also Avery Brooks' performance was intense.
Excellent breakdown, thanks for your reply.
I suppose I'll have to re-watch and see how I react now. At the time, I was horrified.
I always appreciate a good Macrocosm on a slow day. I love Janeway being a badass
Just watch whatever's on TV
Cable television?
Streaming or piracy. That's the best I can do.
That kid looks a lot like Elijah Wood. Is it?
Yup. One of his first roles.
Just watch over the air TV. Its free and requires little hardware
As things evolved, nowadays it's easier and cheaper for me to assembly the hardware needed for piracy than reliably receiving EM waves on the air.
People... like Captain Proton episodes? I'd almost rather watch "Masks".
I keep thinking I should do a proper rewatch of the Dominion War
It goes pretty quick if you skip all the vic fontain filler
That's war though, intense periods, with lots of nothing inbetween. Did you really get the dominion war without Vic?
Vic's heist was one of my favorite episodes because of this. And because it felt like the crew of the station actually trying to hold onto what life was like before the war, which felt important, especially after In the Pale Moonlight
That's a really good point
