I don't know how you mean by "Compact", but I use Jerboa and changed the font size from 16 to 12 and it feels better to me.

Came in to post this. I just got it today and it's absolutely amazing. Turned Lemmy from a "I hope it gets better" to "I'm set now" sort of experience.
There is slightly modified version of the non-compact script from u/god too. That's the one I've been using.
