I love Mastodon but I really miss the shitpost. Now I’m on lemmy and most of my homepage is shitposts. I love you guys.

Sooo, what is 196? I don't get it.
It's just a shitposting community where the rule is that you have to post something if you visit the community. Notably, the 196 community is disproportionately queer and/or trans, for some reason.
Disproportionately anti communism/fascism too.
Just an observation
Very anti fascist. Tends to be Anti capitalist and pro socialism/communism. Just really hates imperialism and totalitarian countries/regimes which puts the community at odds with any community groups that are particularly pro Russia/China
