What's happening: As a spate of layoffs continues in tech and media, workers — especially younger ones — are sharing the intimate details publicly on TikTok, LinkedIn, X, and other platforms.

ime, this usually happens because the employer didn't care about the employees one but, either.

Or because they overhired, failed to properly assess contraction risk, and then shit downhill instead of facing responsibility for their poor decisions themselves.

Did they mean to say a Sea of Change? The source article also says it this way.
