Instead of me posting the fourth movie in a row, I thought I'd try something different. I'd like to hear from you which B movies you really enjoy (re)watching. :)

I've always loved that Return of the Killer Tomatoes co-stars George Clooney well after his career had taken off, to the point that he's usually mugging for the camera in scenes next to the 'star'.

I LOVE this one! There are some fun meta moments in this, and Karen M. Waldron is a super cute tomato-girl. ๐Ÿ…

I've been cautious to post it because I am unsure if it qualifies, but Who Is Cletis Tout is amazing and has some atypical role playing. It was definitely a bomb but I think it is bomb ๐Ÿ˜†

I've never heard of this one before. Added to my watchlist. :)

Righting Wrongs is a movie i found a few years ago just picking random Hong Kong action films to watch (which is always a great idea) and it's just such a great experience. Great cast, Great soundtrack, Fantastic modern bluray transfer and the whole thing is bonkers from start to finish. Super entertaining

Righting Wrongs might be my favorite Cynthia Rothrock movie. It's the one where she can really show off her martial arts chops. Corey Yuen doesn't get enough credit in the West for being an amazing action director.

Its been far too long since I've watched Hard Ticket to Hawaii.

I searched through the last 4 months worth of postings to attempt to follow the prompt:

  • Carnosaur is some cheap Roger Corman fun schlock
  • Deathwish 3, Canon action film that is entirely over the top. Watch a 64 year old Charles Bronson do slow-mo vigilantism.
  • Death Race 2000, David Carradine in a Roger Corman flick where the race is also scored by killing bystanders.
  • Ninja III: The domination, Canon tried to do series but failed horribly, this one's opening scene agrivated my Wife out of watching it.
  • Petey Wheatstraw, I have converted a few people to bad movies through Rudy Ray Moore and this is a soft entry.
  • Return of the Living Dead, Oh baby, this takes zombies in a decidedly non-Romero direction and is full of fun.
  • The Lair of the White Worm, I've seen this a few times over the last few years and I find myself chuckling throughout.

I have seen 6 out of the 7 movies (still need to see Petey Wheatstraw) and agree they're all a lot of fun.

I really hope that we'll get a new Deathwish series in the vein of part 3, starring Robert Bronzi. That would be the bomb!

I've heard of Eegah, actually! It stars my favourite Bond villain henchman: Jaws!

I guess Story of Ricky ( Ricky-Oh ), Big troible in little China and Ichi the killer if you can put them to B cinema :)

[โ€“] janonymous@lemmy.world 3 points 9 months ago* (last edited 9 months ago)

Big Trouble in Little China is definitely no B movie! That was a ~$20 million 20th Century Fox production. I don't think Itchi the Killer qualifies either.

Story of Ricky on the other hand...*chef's kiss*

[โ€“] LaurenceWolse@feddit.nl 2 points 9 months ago

Three fantastic movies. Especially Rick-Oh: wirklich geiler Shit! ;)

I really like Tombs of the Blind dead. Dusty templar monk zombies are my favorite type of zombies.

In terms of comedy, I'll never get tired of Freddy got fingered

[โ€“] LaurenceWolse@feddit.nl 1 points 9 months ago

There is a moment in Tombs where the monk zombies are riding on horses and it looks amazing!

I don't think I posted Doctor Hackenstein here, yet. I've just recently rewatched it and it holds up. It's actually pretty good for a B movie! Definitely one of my favorite B-movies. My absolute favorite is Burial Ground - The Nights of Terror, which I already posted here, though.

I don't remember seeing Premutos here.

Found this one because a french YouTuber (a long time ago and he deleted his account sadly, I will always remember his review of twilight) made a parody review of it, with sentences like "There's a cleaning maid that do Kung Fu !", which made me want to check how bad it really was.

Had a great time, that movie is quite something for sure.

Are you talking about Monsieur3D?

[โ€“] NOSin@lemmy.world 2 points 9 months ago

Nope, his name was Monsieur critique, he only made two videos and the channel ended up being deleted after a couple years Do I regret not saving those videos
