How to keep the Winamp’s back.

Who are those 29% who voted for B C and D? Trolls?

[–] rifugee@lemmy.world 7 points 7 months ago (2 children)

Or additional dumbasses. Dumbass is not an uncommon trait, after all.

[–] ozymandias117@lemmy.world 4 points 7 months ago (1 children)

Tbf, I kind of want to know how much zebraforce my car gets now, though

[–] rifugee@lemmy.world 3 points 7 months ago (2 children)

A zebra is closer to the size of a donkey than a horse, and donkeys have about 5 horsepower, so a 200hp car would be about 40zf (zebra force). Also, since horses actually have about 15 horsepower, that same car would be about 13ahp (actual horse power). Llamas are also about the size of a donkey, so probably similar numbers.

Disclaimer: I'm not a scientist and these numbers came from my ass.

But is your donkey a scientist?

[–] rifugee@lemmy.world 2 points 7 months ago

He's a scientologist. Same thing, right?

Horsepower isn't a measure of how much power one horse can produce at any time, but rather over an entire day. It's roughly the number of horses an engine could replace running 24/7.

Running a horse at 15 horsepower would tire it out rather quickly, so you'd need many teams of horses rotated around to maintain 15 horsepower.

Agreed. The ratio is particularly high at maga rallies and anti vaccine drives.

I wouldn't be surprised if the voting system you see the audience use is completely fake and the graphs are predetermined before the show is taped.

The charitable interpretation is β€” for maybe some of them anyway β€” people who wanted to make it look like it wasn't that obvious of an answer and make him feel less bad about it

Some humans just want to watch the world burn

[–] RagingRobot@lemmy.world 1 points 7 months ago

It was probably this guy's family sitting out in the audience lol. Must be no horse where they come from.

Zebraforce would be a kickass band name.

[–] fidodo@lemmy.world 4 points 7 months ago

All of these would

I was thinking Saturday morning cartoon that lasted 5 episodes.

Let's be honest people's brains absolutely can turn off when they appear on a quiz. It's a weird and stressful situation. Especially if you remember that all of your mistakes will be broadcast to millions of people and commented on and intensely scrutinized.

[–] chetradley@lemmy.world 6 points 7 months ago (2 children)

What's the excuse for the 29% of the audience?

[–] Aganim@lemmy.world 4 points 7 months ago

Trolling. I hope.

[–] antonim@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 7 months ago

Nothing. Though I don't think there are any special requirements for one to be in the audience anyway.

I'll give him credit for using a lifeline when he truly needed it. Better to use it and get it right than guess and risk having the game end at the first question.

[–] Kusimulkku@lemm.ee 1 points 7 months ago

That's gonna be all the extra credit that dude ever got

[–] TeckFire@lemmy.world 3 points 7 months ago (2 children)

Fun fact:

28 Zebraforce is equivalent to 1 Dragonforce

[–] MadBob@feddit.nl 2 points 7 months ago

Let's be charitable and say he was just being arrogant wasting his lifeline on this question to prove he wouldn't need it later.

[–] theshoeshiner@lemmy.world 2 points 7 months ago* (last edited 7 months ago)

Okay but where is Koalamps.

[–] BustinJiber@lemmy.world 1 points 7 months ago

Me when I'm still not sure

[–] uriel238@lemmy.blahaj.zone 1 points 7 months ago

Donkey Power is an important unit used by Macho Business Donkey Wrestlers.

[–] Got_Bent@lemmy.world 0 points 7 months ago

If that show is still a thing, I'd like to see a similar question that includes measures of time such as mooches and heads of lettuce.
