I was going to say, I bet there’s a game where you click recommended until you land on a video that is some kind of abhorrent conspiracy nonsense.
Like the Wikipedia game? Not likely but you can make it.
Yeha like the wikipedia game, feel like it could be quite cool for YouTube.
I thought there was one that clicking the first link on an article, and then repeat on the next article, by the seventh you on the "philosophy" article
Edit: word
Edit 2: I think it was if you keep clicking the first link, eventually you'll get to philosophy
The first non-italicized link, specifically.
And if I remember correctly the longest one found so far is "Gandalf (disambiguation)" at 14 steps.
I obviously had to try this since I need to get up very early tomorrow morning. Now I am stuck because I am pretty sure I played it incorrectly, so just out of curiosity if anyone could verify the number of steps to get to the philosophy page by starting with this article - that would be great…
I got 19. Maybe I'm the one remembering wrong.
Edit : first non italicized nor parenthetical link. Going through pronunciation notes gets you nowhere.
This might be fun, but I feel like my recommendations go in circles
It might be a game to just escape the circle
You mean the hitler thing on wikipedia?
Haven't heard of this?
Go to random article on Wikipedia. See how many clicks it takes you to get to Hitler's wiki page without using the search function.
Using country always feels like cheating though in that game.
How can you get a fresh session at youtube? I'm worried they'll recognize my IP and it'll shape what I'm being shown
You literally just sign out and make sure you clear your cookies and this then resets your YouTube.
Firefox temporary containers works for me.
How do you use firefox in a container?
It's an extension. Search for "Temporary Containers" in the Add-ons and Themes section under to the Tools menu.
