I love pumpkin pie. Same here for me.
This isn't really related, but there is this one classic Christmas song that plays on the radio. The lyric is "some pumpkin pie", but I can never unheard it as"some fucking pie".

Just a regular ol baked sweet potato? Interesting and simple. I like it
The way my wife does it is by boiling them, peeling them, cutting them into cubes, then putting them in a glass tray, putting cinnamon sugar, butter, and marshmallows on top, then baking them.

In our family, it's always been served as a side dish, not a desert, but sweet potatoes mixed with a ton of butter and brown sugar, and then topped with marshmallows and baked... that usually was enough for me to satisfy any need for desert. I don't know how any of us avoided emerging from childhood without diabetes.
I've always wondered why that's served as a side, or even a "vegetable" dish

Pecan pie, but I never have room to eat it that day.
Mashed potatoes and stuffing. I don't care about pies or tarts - just let me have more stuffing and potatoes, they're far better.
Wait but what about gravy ?! The holy trinity is mashed potatoes stuffing and gravy.

Either pumpkin pie or apple pie are my favorites!
Thanksgiving is for pies in my family, any other desserts wait until Christmas.

Pecan pie. I may like to dunk on my state, but they're spot on when it comes to pecan pie. However, I like to use maple syrup instead of corn syrup because I hate the antichrist
