From what i have heard, gecko needs to be made more modular so you can pull it out and use it yourself and then a really nice browser could be made

much thanks to @gary_host_laptop for the logo design :)
Only Mull is good on the FF side. On the Chrome side, use Thorium or Cromite, a fork of the for now dead Bromite.
Avoid Brave, Fennec and IceRaven are not hardened enough. Do not use FF, it dials home. Unless you do the user.js bit with ArkenFox.
As far as usability, but not the best privacy-wise, SmartCookieWeb Preview. Allow to use extensions like unlock just like you do on PC, with the popups at the ready. But it allows for the addons on the address bar.
Thorium is privacy hardened. But its damn fast, like double as Mull. Sucks a bit, but Mull is also slower than Firefox etc.
Fennec on F-droid is good, at least for my need to surfing safe website.
Right now I'm just using Cromite on mobile and Firefox on desktop. Not having sync sucks though. No Bitwarden auto fill support on Cromite yet either (though it should be coming soon). I still have FireFox installed on my phone as a backup.
Mull is gecko based and hardened similar to arkenfox within the limitations of mobile. Also Firefox add on support.
