Good. Such an idiotic trend.

[–] TheCrispyDud@kbin.social 43 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Man riding a motorcycle in my state with these fuckin idiots was awful. Even with the helmet I got a waff of this garbage and not to mention it sticking to my clothes on some occasions. It's not even denialism it's just wilful harm. Luckily the number of these idiots seems to have gone down over the last few years.

Try a prius with a busted a/c. Nothing on this fucking planet makes those inbreds want to billow a huge carfart more than seeing a prius with its windows down. It's to the point where if I'm at a light next to a truck that sounds diesel, I roll up the windows before it turns green.

[–] InternetUser2012@midwest.social 4 points 11 months ago

Floor it when it turns green, you'll leave them sitting and then laugh at them when they go flying past you 30mph over the speed limit

[–] Rhoeri@lemmy.world 28 points 11 months ago (1 children)

So wait a second…. Not only is it that these idiots are buying trucks that are bad for the environment- they’re PURPOSEFULLY modifying them to be even worse?

I haven’t believed in god my entire life, but I think I’m going to start- so I can pray that another COVID comes around to take the pieces of shit out.

Enough is enough. They’ll don’t belong here anymore.

Not only that, their vehicles may not work as efficiently and burn more gas when running.

[–] sturmblast@lemmy.world 18 points 11 months ago

and then they complain about gas prices

I'd never even heard of this before. Fuuuuck these people.

[–] Jaysyn@kbin.social 18 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Good, because the EPA doesn't do a damn thing when you send them video, even with license plates.

[–] InternetUser2012@midwest.social 2 points 11 months ago

No but they'll go after whoever sold the shit to them

[–] CADmonkey@lemmy.world 16 points 11 months ago (1 children)

I'm pretty sure that if I go out and remove the catalytic converter from my vehicle, and then drive it, thst it's a $2,500 fine. (Im in the US.)

Perhaps a similar fine is in order for people who have made their diesel engine intentionally run dirty.

Now I will blame part of this issue on the difficulties associated with keeping diesel engine emissions equipment alive. I feel these systems could be made more durable.

[–] clegko@lemmy.world 10 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Funnily enough, removing your cat. converter is illegal, but getting caught without one isn't. Unless the Fed watches you remove it, they won't fine you.

Totally agree, though. Fuck coal rollers.

[–] Brahminman@iusearchlinux.fyi 7 points 11 months ago

This is because it's usually a Crack head that took the liberty of removing it for you

[–] ghostdoggtv@lemmy.world 11 points 11 months ago

Coal rollers

Traitors

It's the same picture

[–] bitsplease@lemmy.ml 9 points 11 months ago

Didn't even have to read the article to know it would be about rolling coal

Hope the idiots get fined to hell and back

[–] Arthur_Leywin@lemmy.world 6 points 11 months ago

These people are willfully trying to make humans go extinct and make our lives worse. I'm ok with the death penalty.

[–] Dkarma@lemmy.world 3 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Tires are expensive. Sidewall damage can't be repaired

[–] CADmonkey@lemmy.world 2 points 11 months ago* (last edited 11 months ago)

Something I keep noticing about the brodozers I see is the tires are almost always bald. And I wonder if they're having trouble with maintainence. Diesel engines are expensive when they break.
