In this community everyone is welcome to post links and discuss topics related to privacy.
Some Rules
- Posting a link to a website containing tracking isn't great, if contents of the website are behind a paywall maybe copy them into the post
- Don't promote proprietary software
- Try to keep things on topic
- If you have a question, please try searching for previous discussions, maybe it has already been answered
- Reposts are fine, but should have at least a couple of weeks in between so that the post can reach a new audience

Yeah, I agree with you.
Recommending removedute as an alternative to YouTube, recommending Telegram over other alternatives, or recommending Medium as an alternative to Blogger is terrible. It's been a long time since I've seen such a bad list....
Yeah, exactly. Was actually impressed such a "pro-privacy" site could miss the point so badly...
A website who is describing Telegram as "longtime secure messenger"and places it above Element/Matrix in its ranking doesn't seem trustworthy at all even if the rest of the article would be 100% correct.
This is a major fuckup.
Completely agree. There is no proof at all that Telegram is secure. It’s also a closed platform. Currently it makes no money. But very soon I’m sure it will start serving Ads or premium features - all that server power and bandwidth isn’t free.
