It would be nice to see projects like this with all the leaks we have had over the years if not for the legal bullshit. Or even just a code review to see what kind of weird shit devs used to do.

Agreed, some really amazing stuff could be lurking there. Let us not forget the glory that is the Fast Inverse Square Root.
I love stuff like this so much! Just some absolute gem of a person out there deciding to rebuild a classic from the jumbled mess of code available
In a better world Sony would slide them some money and buy it as a remaster But I know things aren't that simple
Awesome!
Thanks for the link, found more peeps to follow!
Didn't know about this either:
The latest video by @Sora_Sakurai finally shows off footage of the elusive "Dragon King: The Fighting Game!", a super early prototype of Super Smash Bros before they settled on using Nintendo characters!
Plays liquid smooth on my iPad.
Plays great on Firefox too.
Great work with a very good explanation of the process.
WTF, it runs in my phone's web browser. That's kinda insane.
The legality of re-distributing the leaked source is questionable at best.
LOL no shit. I'll steer well clear of that one I think.
Ideally IP laws would be such that this would be considered public domain by now. The game came out in 1995, so it's almost 30 years old and Sony isn't selling it anymore. Surely that was a long enough legal protection.
