Just finished Arcane and I have to say I'm left without words. I knew this was going to be awesome because I've always loved how Riot's music videos were top quality animation wise, but ofc just overall great. Ive played league of legends(I dont recommend playing the game at all or EVER) before but dont play anymore, this series will not require you to have any knowledge about the game and will take you through an extraordinary adventure of two sisters (and friends). The animation is top notch, the soundfx are really good too and the story is nuanced. Currently on Netflix but I may or may have not downloaded it from internet friends through p2p means due to my philosphical perspective and would definitely not encourage anyone to do the same ;).

What are your thoughts on this series?

I was really impressed with the visual direction and the quality of animation in the show. I think this kind of style works really well for sci-fi and fantasy shows that would just end up looking cheesy as live actions. At the same time it manages to capture the feel of a live action show that's traditionally very hard to do with traditional animation. Love, Death & Robots is another show that manages this well. Highly recommend checking that out if you enjoy this style.

Love, death, robots is truly some of the best work in animation out there

For sure, I was also really happy to see some short stories from Alastair Reynolds get animated. Three Robots was my all time favorite episode though. :)

I know nothing about lol (except for the music wich is always dope) I tried to play many years ago but didnt go nowhere

Yet I absolutely love arcane. The animation, the story, everything is so fucking perfect. And I love Jinx, 100% transition goal.

I wanna know more about the lore, it looks so good

Oh, I'm so in love with Arcane. I played LoL once, but it wasn't my game at all.
I was interested in the characters a bit before Arcane came out, and I had my favorites, and the series only brought me closer to the characters. Personally, I'm already looking forward to the next season.

I watch this with my kid at their place over the course of this weekend. I enjoyed it. They play LOL heavy and got into the lore and back drop. I'm never gonna play the game but I love the art of the game.

I haven't watched it yet, but I hate it because I've been using this name for 20+ years and now I get bombarded on Twitter by fans of the show who don't understand how Twitter works.
