MODERATORS

I personally have no problem with nsfw of almost any kind, in fact I have nsfw content enabled and unblurred. So I may have higher tolerance than average, and so I wanna know what people (especially the admins) think.

On !starwarsmemes@lemmy.world we've had 2 memes reported as needing a nsfw tag yesterday:

  1. https://lemmy.world/post/1605124

  2. https://lemmy.world/post/1623624

I asked the poster of #2 to mark it as nsfw, but let #1 be as that's just wordplay we can easily find in Disney cartoons. But then I also realise that the comments may lean more towards nsfw for some tastes? And I don't wish to moderate that.

So I asked a poster of another meme to tag it as nsfw too:

  1. https://lemmy.world/post/1670456

The downvotes indicate my request isn't popular.

Maybe I'm overthinking it, but as I said I wonder what other people think. I'd rather give people more freedom than restrictions.

Granted. I guess I'm thinking about this specific thing more, because it's a Star Wars community, and that's a big topic. Elsewhere I wouldn't bother as much.

I'll probably be doing a meta post there soon anyway, but wanted to see some input from maybe other mods first.
