cute dogs, cats, and other animals

My cat has been going apeshit affectionate the last couple of days. I couldn't figure out why until I realized it's because I've been sleeping in the basement which is a good 10-15 degrees cooler than the rest of the house. She could easily join me down there since that's where her food and water and litter box are, but I guess she'd rather keep sweltering upstairs and thinking I've abandoned her.
