Hi,

ich nutze aktuell Protonmail für meine E-Mails. Ich frage mich jedoch, ob es vielleicht sinnvoller wäre, einen eigenen Mailserver zu hosten und E-Mails einfach mit PGP zu verschlüsseln.

Bietet Protonmail noch irgendwelche Vorteile gegenüber self-hosting + PGP? Wie macht ihr das?

Ja nur für eine eigene Mailadresse würde ich mir den Stress eines Mailservers nicht antun.

Wenn dann schau dir mal mailcow an, das geht relativ einfach.
