I'm a new peertuber (literally created the channel yesterday) and being on the fediverse for a good time made me think It's a bit more harder to be discovered. It's not just that I want to become internet famous, but also because a whole lot of content here is generally really bad. (I'm not talking about the shitposts, the info coming from videos are boring as hell, the thumbnails and titles meh.)

I love the fediverse, It's tough to say but the videos here is quote-on-quote, really boring.

I'm not about to recreate the same mistakes, peertube could be something more than this.

unrelated: One thing I noticed is that youtubers do alot of collabs, and that's probably why some youtubers get discovered quickly, in general generates alot of traction. However there isn't really a center place to find other creators on peertube.

If there is any advice please don't hesitate to tell me anything, and let's discuss this for a bit, shall we?

As a content creator, if you don’t think the current instances are good enough or doesn’t revolve around a topic you are interested in, I encourage you to create your own peertube. ... Think of what kind of content you can be enthusiastic about and create an instance for it that you believe others can be interested in as well.

I've actually been going around and round and kind of feeling alienated because of the fact that I haven't been able to really find anyone who has much common interests. Probably better to self-host and let people come in this situation, anyway here's what I'm interested in atm.

Anime & Manga
Post-internet Music
Art
Voice-Acting
VR
The Fediverse (I'll probably talk about the history of it relating to the internet)
Internet specific content aka talk about making blogs, webcomics, webnovels. what-have-you

We can talk later, sure. However I'm still thinking whether or not doing something as making an instance, I'm not used to being some sort of owner/leader of something, I think It's better to do it together with other people. anyway you use matrix?
